Library Lovers’ Month Interview with Bill Reetz

Q: Can you share a time when you found something in the collection of the Vermillion Public Library that brought a fresh new insight and expanded your world view?
A: I found the South Dakota Collection with its early histories of South Dakota very informative.

Q: What aspect or aspects of the Vermillion Public Library do you find the most valuable?
A: A good selection of books and the interlibrary loan helps that helps fill any or most gaps that Vermillion Library might have.

Q: If you were helping a new citizen to become familiar with Vermillion, what would you tell them about the Vermillion Public Library?
A: I would say that the Library is one of Vermillion’s finest assets. The staff are well-informed and very friendly. The bulletin board is also useful in helping one become knowledgable about local activities and events.

Q: What can the staff at the Vermillion Public Library do to make your day?
A: I cannot think of anything other than for them to keep doing what they do. They are both friendly and helpful and I do not think you could ask for more than that.
