The Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library will participate in the Earth (Every) Day events throughout our community with a book discussion of EcoMind: Changing the Way We Think, to Create the World We Want by Frances Moore Lappé on Monday, April 21st. The discussion, led by Dean Spader, will be held in the Kozak Room at 7 pm. Whether or not you have read the book, you are more than welcome to come to the discussion.
The author, Frances Moore Lappé, will be speaking at the USD campus at 7 pm on Tuesday, April 22nd. A full week in store to celebrate Earth (Every) Day with these events and more, which can be found on the Earth Day calendar at the Sustainable Vermillion website.
Be sure to check out our display case of earth-related books from the Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library collection. If you’d like to check one out, feel free….just mention at the Circulation Desk that you got it from the Earth Day display. Happy Earth Day!
