2017 Summer Reading Program

ARE YOU READY TO BUILD A BETTER WORLD?

Readers of every age will be challenged to dream big this summer as the Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library presents “Build a Better World!” during our 2017 Summer Reading Program.  Planned activities include coding, circuits, and LEGO robotics, creative building projects, health & wellness sessions, Chess Club, Origami Club, weekly entertainers and much, much more. The Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young-adult, with programs, prize drawings, Storytime sessions, reading clubs, and many other sessions.

Did you know that children consistently score higher in reading and math when they participate in summer reading programs? Use the summer season to bolster your child’s brain development, while having tons of fun – for FREE!  Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me program; adults are encouraged to register, as well, for the adult reading program, all of which have prizes available.

Registration for the Summer Reading Program can be found HERE.
