Between Shades of Grays by Ruta Sepetys is the September Book Club selection. In this historical novel, a fifteen-year-old Lithuanian girl tells her story of being deported, along with her mother and brother, to a Siberian work camp in 1941. The discussion will be held on Thursday, October 18th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Community Room. Dave Burrow, USD Associate Professor of History will be facilitating this discussion.
