Needless to say, snacks are included;)

Mango Languages

Interested in learning a language? Brushing up on some language skills? Did you know that you can do this for FREE with your Library patron card?
Explore Mango Languages by visiting our website at vermillionpubliclibrary.org, and clicking on the ‘Resources’ tab on our menu bar. Scroll down to your first choice: South Dakota Share-It. This site will open up in a new window, and provides you access to all of the databases subscribed to by the South Dakota State Library. If you’ve not yet used the services provided by SD Share-It, you will need to create an account by choosing the ‘Log-In’ option, and scrolling down to the ‘Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library’ choice in the dialog box that opens up. Use your Library card barcode as your username, and your last name in the password box.

Once in the system, click on the disc icon to see the full list of databases; Mango Languages is among your many choices. Mango Languages will prompt you to create a new account, although you may also log in as a guest. Through a module tutorial process, Mango can introduce you to any one of 72 languages – you’re sure to find the ones you’re looking for. Accessible for nearly any age, whether you’ve ever studied a foreign language before, or not. Go check it out!
