Listed below are just a few of the ways in which you can help us keep this wonderful community resource going. Gifts of any size and kind are accepted year-round, and we appreciate them all. Edie’s Book Shop

The Friends of the Edith B. Siegrist Vermillion Public Library are excited to now have a permanent home for selling used books – Edie’s Book Shop – named in honor of Edith B. Siegrist.  Located on the library lower level, the Book Shop will be open the second Friday and Saturday of every month. Be sure to come in and check out our new space as we move from having one book sale a year, to a year-round book store.  Access the Book Shop using either the elevator or the adjacent stairs located to the left of the main entrance on Church Street.

The new shop offers many opportunities you don’t want to miss! New items will be added to our inventory each month, so check in often. We will also be featuring special monthly sales, Select Titles and Best Sellers. Have enough books for now? Also available are bookmarks and other gift items; Edie’s Book Shop has something for everyone! Proceeds from Edie’s Book Shop support The Summer Reading Program and other library events and activities, so every purchase means a better library experience for our patrons.

Thanks for shopping with us!

If interested in volunteering to work at the Book Shop, please contact the Library at 677-7060, or Friends Coordinators Shari Kolbeck (624-9273) or Anne Dunham (624-4140).
