Update: ALL programming will be cancelled until 3/23, and all meeting rooms closed
We are closely monitoring developments pertaining to COVID-19, commonly referred to as Coronavirus. We encourage community members, especially those in high-risk populations, to stay away from public spaces such as the library as much as possible. If you are feeling ill avoid contact with other people. Social distancing is one key way to slow the spread of the illness. Please keep in mind, as a public space, the Library cannot guarantee a germ-free environment or germ-free physical materials. You need to consider if using library materials, or visiting the Library or other public spaces, is best for you and your family. As a reminder, the Library has many digital services available to you for free.
Out of caution and care for our community members, starting Saturday 3/14 and initially, until Monday 3/23, we are taking the following measures:
- The children’s play area will be closed.
- The Youth Room will be closed.
- All programming is canceled until 3/23, and all meeting rooms closed.
- The usage of public access computers will be restricted to adults only. We would encourage patrons to limit the use of the Technology Center to short time periods and essential needs only.
Please check back for updates as we may announce additional restrictions on services as the situation evolves.
